Small update here for those curious about the status of book 2. The book is currently undergoing its final proofing, which involves me, the author, re-reading through a physical proof copy I’ve received in order to weed out any last-minute mistakes before publication. With any luck it should be all set and ready for the masses by this upcoming week, but that doesn’t mean that it’ll be published at that point. Before that happens I’ll be sending out several review copies ahead of time to paid-review organizations such as the Portland Book Review and the such. I’m also open to the idea of sending out proof copies (as well as copies of Book 1, for those that have yet to read it) to anyone managing a book review blog or website. These copies would be provided free-of-charge for those who are simply interested in reading and reviewing books.
So if you, or someone you know, is interested in obtaining a review copy, please email me @ email@example.com with the following information:
- The reviewers name (you or otherwise).
- The reviewers blog or website address.
- Whether or not you will need book 1 as well for the purpose of the review (will also be provided free-of-charge).
- The average length of time it takes the reviewer to finish a book of 350 pages and write-up a review.
Again, to reiterate, if you run a book review blog or website (something as small as a Facebook review page is fine) and are interested in reading an advanced copy of Replica: Alliance for free, and are also willing to write up a review of the book for free, then please email the above to firstname.lastname@example.org. Shipping and handling will be free as well, provided you are within the continental United States. If you are outside of such and are still interested then I’m sure we can work something out. Don’t hesitate to email me just because you’re worried about shipping!
